Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease. It is a type of allergy which is caused by genetic and environmental factors. It leads in difficulty in taking proper breath, wheezing. An acute asthma is referred as asthma attack, It is in response to a trigger such as exposure to allergen, pollen grains, cold air, stress, pollution etc resulting in sneezing, wheezing, chest stiffness, coughing.
Types of Asthma:
1. Childhood Asthma
Childhood Asthma is one of the most common chronic diseases. It is a lung disease characterized by difficulty in breathing, cough with sputum and some time fever. It can be hereditary. Children suffering from Asthma faces problem such as cough, wheeze and pain in chest.
2. Bronchial Asthma
Bronchial Asthma is a chronic asthma, inflammatory disease of the airways characterized by dyspnoea, cough, wheezing.
SYMPTOMS
Asthma attack may take place in which breathing becomes difficult.
Wheezing occurs.
Pain in chest.
Coughing.
