According to Ayurveda our diet is an important factor for our health. The food what we eats can act as a medicine for us. A healthy diet can act as your best weapons to fight against many diseases. The food nourishes our body, activate our mind by providing it energy and also satisfy our senses.

Prevention is a very important characteristic in Ayurveda and it enforces the great significance of being in sync into the rhythms of nature “Prevention is better than cure”.

We should have food which can be easily digestible and release energy randomly to activate our body. We should eat healthy and complete diet which consists of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, minerals, vitamins, nutrients etc.

You should take regular meals – don’t skip any time meals, and should always eat a healthy breakfast (e.g. natural fibre cereal with sliced banana and low fat milk). Should take a glass of milk or milk products every day, they are rich in calcium. They help in making our bones strong and fit.

You should eat only that much calorie that your digestive system can burn the same every day to maintain your weight, should take at least 7-8 glasses of water every day. As water makes our chyme to be soluble and hence it can be easily digestible.

One should take balance diet. Vegetables and fruits contain vitamins, minerals and fiber and they’re low in calories. Eating a variety of fruits and vegetables may help you in controlling your weight. Whole grains contain fiber which helps in maintaining blood cholesterol level. Avoid junk food.

Do physical activity, regular exercise to maintain your sound health.

1) Turmeric Milk: for better Immune System and treatment of Inflammation.

2) Put drop of cow ghee in your nose-it helps in preventing from migraine problems.

3) One Lemon in day helps in burning the extra fat of your body.

4) Take a teaspoon of honey every day.

5) Chew slowly and properly.

6) Using of asafetida in cooking helps in avoiding gas and digestion of stiff food.

7) Avoid processed or canned food.
